The IIMB was set up in 1973 and one of the top business schools in India. In June 2010, IIMB received European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS) accreditation by the European Foundation of Management Development (EFMD). IIMB has also entered into a partnership with Richard Ivey School of Business to co-brand and distribute faculty-authored cases on a global basis. IIMB has also established academic exchange partnership arrangements with 101 business schools and universities around the world.
